Recall a recent— and somehow always recurring— memory. It’s the onset of spring when the air, for the first time after the cold still of winter, is just slightly warmer than your skin. A quiet signal that the days are stretching longer, as you decide to take your first “after dinner stroll” in what feels like has been forever since the sun has lingered this long in the sky.
Each step brings a different sensory experience and you pause, trying to trace every unique waft; rainbows of blooming flowers, the crispness of fresh green grass, the tree with white blossoms you can never quite name? As all the smells culminate into one perfect, intoxicating breath, you decide, this is what spring smells like.
Flower Child is a cocktail we hope makes you say, "This is what spring tastes like." With our Native Colorado Gin as the base spirit, the blend of its mild botanicals lends beautifully to the elderflower liqueur, allowing its floral bouquet to shine through. The delicate sweetness is equally balanced with bright citrus notes from the orange bitters as well as lemon and grapefruit juice. Completing the cocktail, a splash of Verjus holds all of these flavors together with its smooth sweet, yet tart finish.
