Apple Ginger Collaboration Series Pommeau
Dry Land Distillers is proud to collaborate with St. Vrain Cidery to craft our first artisanal pommeau. It's a deliciously dry aperitif made by distilling St. Vrain Cidery's Apple Ginger Pommeau to create a clear eau de vie (brandy). We blended the eau de vie with fresh apple cider and barrel aged it for a year in a used oak barrel (previously a bourbon from Law's Whiskey House in Denver that was last used to make agricole-style rum for Swaylo's Tiki Bar). It'an uncarbonated low ABV beverage (right at 19%) and sips just like a delicious chardonnay. We produced fewer than 500 bottles. It's available for sale at both St. Vrain Cidery and Dry Land Distillers until sold out. $31 for 375 ml.
